Fox Run was blessed to be asked to host a special field trip day for the Big Brother/ Big Sister Organization out at the barn. After much preparation, setting up stations, getting the barn clean and the horses ready, we were delighted to meet everyone who came to visit. Everyone had a wonderful time learning to groom and care for a horse.

I think that might have been the favorite station!! Next, the kids had the opportunity to do a craft activity involving horses before going on to the highlight of the day….a horseback ride on Sugar Pie. A short demonstration was performed by our riders as the kids enjoyed a snack!

Thanks to Bre, Hayleigh, Jordan, Eliza, Anne, Meridith, Ella, Chloe, Andrew, and Alicia, for all their hard work and of course we have to give extra thanks to SUGARPIE. She gave a lot of kids their first ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!
