• We have had an exciting summer! In May we competed in the River to River horse show in Illinois the whole team had a very successful ride and won lots of ribbons. See the slide show “River to River” for a sweet tribute to the horses and riders of Fox Run Stable.

• Carmel finally had her surprise baby on July 13 after a stormy night with a full moon shining down. Blaze is a very affectionate colt! (Vesper Insert baby picture) Congratulations to her owners, Jennifer and Eleanor.

• Chloe Kasten will be participating in the 2011 PONY FINALS on Sportin the Blue, her newest addition to her horse family!!! We wish her the best of luck. ( Vesper Insert Picture here of Chloe and pony)

• Two super helpers joined our working student program, Kaci and Zho! These two 12 year olds really know how to work and they are becoming great little pony jockeys.

• James, Baby and Gracie continue to aspire to Pony Finals 2012 and are in rigorous training with their riders, Ella, Bre and Andrew!

• Several of our students are now ready to horse shop so we are hoping to add some great new guys to the stable. Keep your fingers crossed we find the right horse for each rider. We thought we had a good pick for one of our students only to discover that “My Friend Flicka turned into HI HO Silver when asked to Canter. Oh well, we will keep searching!!!

• Fox Run is proud to welcome Cassie Zimmerman as barn manager. She and her 10 years of experience riding and working with Hunter /Jumper horses is a valuable addition to our stable. Students and parents alike enjoy her friendly outgoing personality and her willingness to share not only her knowledge of horses but also her wonderful horse, Griffin!!!!

• Kristi Lutz placed in the top ten in the nation in the walk trot canter division of the Intercolligiate Horsemanship Show Association in Lexington, Ky. She is a founding member of the SEMO Redhawks Equestrian team! Congratulations Kristi and her Coach, SuAnne Remley.

• We are currently placing orders for Fox Run Apparel including new riding team jackets if you are interested call the barn and let us know!! Polo with emblem $25, T-shirts $20, Jackets with emblem and name $85.
